Did you hear the one about LSU head football coach Les Miles resigning due for a bad Petrino-like affair with a student? And that he was resigning his HC job because of the story coming out? Well they're not true. Twitter ran amok with the story, but it was denied by LSU.
Talked to a source at LSU tonight.. there is no truth to that wild rumor.

It wasn’t a very pleasant Sunday morning for Les Miles, as rumors surfaced of the LSU head coach being in an affair — with a student – that ultimately would lead him to stepping down from the university. Although Miles may not be aware of these rumors yet, he’s surely going to be getting some phone calls and texts about it at some point today.

LSU briefly got to experience life with a winning SEC record. The Tigers won a closer game than it should have been Wednesday at home versus Arkansas, then dropped a tough game in a hostile gym at Missouri. LSU sits at 8-8 in conference with two games to go. If LSU can get one of the two, this season will be have been a success for first-year coach Johnny Jones.
