Every year we get one of these games, an offense vs. defense matchup that is heralded as some sort of transcendent event in college football. Does great defense beat great offence? Or does a talented, disciplined, clock-chewing offense come out on top over a hard-nosed, rabid defense?
So far no revelations have sprung forth from any of these games. The offense-defense debate still rages and will continue as long as people are willing and able to talk about sports. But that doesnt make the games any less fun to watch.
