Will embattled LSU running back be on the field for the Tigers' Aug. 31 season opener against TCU? That's something that only LSU head football coach Les Miles knows, and doesn't want you (or TCU) to find out.
"Jeremy Hill is going to sustain discipline," Miles said. "We said
earlier that ... he would be withheld from play. That's going to take
place. Our discipline will be internal at this point, and I don't think
we have much further to say."
Asked whether Hill would travel to Dallas for No. 12 LSU's matchup with the 20th-ranked Horned Frogs, Miles remained vague.
"We're not going to comment on that at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised that he would be on our trip," the coach said."
Hill has had some notable run-ins with law. The most recent resulting from an incident in the spring where Hill reportedly "sucker-punched" another person at a bar in Baton Rouge. Hill plead guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge in July.
