Analysis:Behind a strong front seven on defense, the Falcons finished second in the MAC East in '08. Unfortunately, the departure of two defensive ends, two linebackers, and two corners leaves some rebuilding for new head coach Dave Clawson in '09.
On the flipside, senior safeties P.J. Mahone and Jahmal Brown return to the team and will provide some stability to the defense featuring an inexperience front seven.
