Found June 01, 2009 on Macho Row:

For the second straight month the fans and Macho Row readers have voted left fielder Raul Ibanez as the Phillie of the Month for the month of May. In fact the voting was not even really close, with Ibanez taking a clear majority of the votes.

Over the past 30 days Ibanez has lead the Phillies in batting average (.314, among every day players), runs batted in (27), home runs (10, tied with Ryan Howard), and slugging percentage (.676). In the mean time Ibanez is well on pace to shatter his career highs for runs scored, triples, home runs, and stolen bases.

Ibanez is among league leaders in home runs, RBIs, batting average, and hits. Yet he is sixth in the National League All Star voting for outfielders? Vote here.

Others receiving votes were Shane Victorino and Cole Hamels.
