Mario Harvey ILB Marshall
Ht: 5’11″
Wt: 257
Strengths:
Three-year starter. A team leader with top intangibles. Plays with a motor that never dies; a classic overachiever that gets the most out of his ability. A hard hitter, but still a reliable tackler. Shows great instincts; always around the football. Experience at inside and outside linebacker.
Weaknesses:
Lacks ideal height. Some teams may scratch him off their board simply because he lacks the measurables they’re looking for. Not an elite athlete; looks a bit stiff in coverage. Does not play up to his timed speed (4.46 at pro day).
Comments:
Harvey is a very safe option in the middle rounds of the draft. With his skill set and work ethic is going to be a solid backup and special teams player at worst. However, his limited athleticism and lack of elite size may prevent him from being much more. His versatility is also an added bonus.
