Maryland Gets Tate

Maryland picks up Kenny Tate, a four-star receiver out of DeMatha. He ended a long recruiting process with a very solid commitment on Washington Post Live. I think he was extremely nervous to be on TV - he was stammering and stuttering when he announced his decision, but he warmed up a little as the interview went on. "I will be attending Maryland University ... As soon as I sign those papers, I'll be a Maryland Terrapin." It seemed like the deciding factors were location, the opportunity to work with a retooled offense, and just feeling like fitting in. Another bonus was that his parents liked Maryland.
