Matt Barkley’s career at USC is over, a shoulder injury bringing a disappointing end to his record-breaking run as the Trojans’ quarterback. Lane Kiffin announced Thursday that the senior quarterback won’t play in Monday’s Sun Bowl against Georgia Tech. Instead, redshirt freshman Max Wittek will make his second career start. Barkley’s throwing shoulder was injured during USC’s second-to-last game against UCLA, and he didn’t play in the season finale. Barkley started a USC-record 47 games over four seasons, becoming the Pac-12 career leader in TD passes, yards passing, completions and total offense. He threw for 3,273 yards and 36 TDs with 15 interceptions this season. Barkley will probably be selected in the first two rounds. I really believe that if healthy he will be a 1st round pick.  Matt Barkley will probably not play in any all star game, which means he will get a chance to shine at the Combine. In the underwear Olympics, Barkley will shine and impress the NFL scouts.  Last ye...
