( REUTERS/Scott Audette)The other day I questioned whether the Team USA players really cared about the WBC. Well, what I actually said was that they "probably don't give a damn" about the tournament. That still might be true, but they sure have me fooled with the effort they put forth in tonight's game against Puerto Rico. Down 5-3 in the bottom of the 9th, facing elimination, Team USA rallied for three runs to win the game 6-5. The US cut the lead to 5-4 with a one out bases loaded walk by Kevin Youkilis. David Wright then steped up and sliced a two-run, walk-off single, down the right field line to win it for the Americans. It was a great win for the US, who have now advanced into the semifinals. Here's some video of Wright's walk-off hit.(Getty Images)
