Want to know how to give up 65 points, 316 rushing yards, 88 offensive (OFF-ensive, not of-FEN-sive, though some definitely were) plays, 562 total yards, and five turnovers while still winning? Just ask the Michigan Wolverines.
I can say with certainty after this game that this is, without a doubt, the worst defense I’ve ever seen. Worse than any unit Indiana University has ever fielded. In fact, I hope they set some kind of record for bad defense because this is a unit I think we all want to remember forever.
Michigan fan really has to be wondering if this is the situation they want. Sure, Rich-Rod’s boys are winning more games now and Denard Robinson is awesome, but the only way they’ll win anything substantial ever is through shootouts like this. And they’ll still get punked by Ohio State every November because the Buckeyes’ defense is too good.
Wolverine fan might have to come to terms with the fact that the program of Schembechler and Lloyd Carr...
