Michigan Football could receive a big recruiting boost on SUnday, May 26th. That is the day that the nation’s second ranked recruit, Jabrill Peppers, will announce his commitment live on ESPNU. Peppers has narrowed his list down to LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Rutgers and Stanford. The prevailing sentiment among recruiting analyst is that Michigan is in the driver’s seat here. Yes Peppers is visiting Penn State on May 18th. No, I don’t think he will go there and not give himself a chance to play for championships. Peppers cancelled his Stanford trip and is excited about playing for a Brady Hoke/Greg Mattison defense. As a sophomore in 2011, he was named the Air Force National Sophomore Of The Year. As a junior, Peppers earned USA Today All-American honors while leading his team to a New Jersey state championship. Peppers is also a track star and has clocked blazing fast times in the 100 meter dash (10.2 seconds) and the 200 meter dash (20.79).
