Well, that was a fairly painless victory to become bowl eligible. But, there are some things to say. -Le’Veon Bell is really good. 35 carries for 266 yards and 7.6 yards per carry. That’s incredible, and with that he becomes the 7th back in MSU history to have over 3,000 career rushing yards and is currently in second place in the FBS in rushing yards on the season. That will probably be enough for him to go to the NFL, so enjoy him in his last game. -Andrew Maxwell is just not good. He was overthrowing wide receivers, not getting good reads and throwing picks. He needs a lot of work. -I am happy that MSU is going to a bowl not because of the extra game but more because it gives them 15 extra practices and time to work on mechanics. -The MSU defense is still good. They only gave up 96 yards of offense and got 4 picks. They’re back. Hey. I hope you guys like Buffalo Wild Wings, because that’s where the Spartans are going! WINGS! /goes to Buffalo Wild Wings, orders wings

Michigan State vs. Oakland University Preview: Valentines And Apples

Oakland University makes the short trek to the Breslin Center tonight to face off against #15 Michigan State in what has become a somewhat regular matchup for these schools. Generally the Spartans have dispatched the Grizzlies with relative ease, although the last meeting was a nail biter as back in 2010 MSU barely edged Oakland by the score of 77-76.
