Oregon State Beavers head coach Mike Riley was the latest name to surface in connection with the opening at Wisconsin. Riley was said to have been set to interview for the job on Friday but those reports quickly died out. Riley confirmed to ESPN’s Joe Schad that “has not interviewed, isn’t scheduled to interview and has no interest in Wisconsin.” “I’m not looking for an offer,” Riley said. “My intentions is staying at Oregon State. That’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to make this the best I can. We’ve made some strides this year. We’ll see what we can do, trying to win this bowl game.” Wisconsin’s Barry Alvarez is hoping to find a top level head coach to bring in after Bret Bielema unexpectantly left for Arkansas. He hasn’t had much luck looking for “his man” and considering Bielema was just about as Big 10 as they come the Wisconsin search could get a lot more interesting.
