One week after Texas A&M, and more specifically, Johnny Manziel, put a whooping on Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl, Sooners assistant Mike Stoops is taking shots at the 2012 Heisman Trophy Winner. Now mind you, Manziel accounted for 516 yards and added another big game loss to the brothers Stoops resumes. During and interview with Oklahoma City sports talk radio station WWLS, Stoops talked about the talent of Manziel, then gave a really snarky and classless remark: “He just creates so many problems for your defense, and he knows what those problems are. And he understands them very well. “They’re gonna be tough to deal with. If they can keep him out of jail or keep him eligible, he’s gonna be pretty good. (Eschbach has begun to laugh, after which Stoops lets loose a single chuckle.) “If they can keep him off the Twitter, he might win three or four Heismans. He’ll have that type of ability.” Just, wow. To hear that come out of a college head coach, especially a high-profile assistant, just amazing.
