From Bryan Hoch:The Yankees acquired Minor League right-hander Charles Nolte from the Twins on Saturday in a swap for right-hander Jason Jones.Jones was selected by Minnesota in the Rule 5 Draft last December, and by rule, he was offered back to New York. Instead of reacquiring the 26-year-old Jones, the Yankees and Twins agreed on the two-player trade.A 24th-round pick of the Twins in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft, the 23-year-old Nolte was 4-3 with one save and a 2.05 ERA in 44 relief appearances at Class A Beloit in 2008.In 70 1/3 innings, Nolte allowed 63 hits and 26 runs (16 earned), walking 35 and striking out 75. Nolte has some decent numbers, and he's still pretty young. Not a bad move if you ask me.
