Missouri has not joined these SEC officially but fans of the former Big 12 team appeared to be catching on to SEC enthusiasm. This year's number one recruit, Dorial Green-Beckham, arrived in Columbia yesterday and was greeted by the following scene. Just before 4:30 p.m., Dorial Green-Beckham and his family arrived from Springfield, greeted by a crowd of approximately 100 Missouri fans decked out in black and gold. Most of them appeared to be students — and, here’s a surprise, completely sober — and many were carrying homemade signs to welcome the country’s top-ranked recruit. One sign read, “Stay home, True Son.” Another, simply, “Welcome home, DGB.” The best of the lot featured a photo of a live tiger wearing a cutout of Green-Beckham’s face for a head.
