All the experts said that a possible Rookie of the Year would be playing Monday night in the last game of the NFL's week 1. Most of them would have been wrong by which team he played for, though. Denver Broncos' receiver Eddie Royal looked like one of the best draft picks that Mike Shanahan has ever made. Of course, most of his yards came from Jay Cutler, who was in turn protected by Ryan Clady (2 first round picks). Maybe these 3 picks have changed Shanahan's luck with the draft. Royal finished the game with 9 receptions for 1 4 6 yards and 1 TD. He also added 39 more all-purpose yards and an incredibly smart throw away on a reverse option. Read more by following the link!
