Michigan Sports Center:
- There is a rumor out there that a few Michigan football players were involved in an incident at Scorekeepers over the weekend, but right now it is only a rumor. For that reason I won't mention any names or anything like that. If it is anything more than a rumor, I'm sure we will hear about it soon enough.
- The Wolverine has a transcript of Rich Rodriguez's press conference on Saturday (the info in the next few bullet points is from the transcript).
- Defensive coordinator Greg Robinson will work with outside linebackers and defensive ends.
- Nick Sheridan unsurprisingly took the first snap at quarterback. He is technically the returning starter with Steven Threet gone, and Tate Forcier has to actually practice before he can climb up the depth chart.
- John Ferrara isn't changing positions back to the defensive line (at least not yet, anyways)
- The team won't practice in pads until this Thursday.
- Mike Tirico and Central Michigan coach Butch Jones were at Saturday's practice.
- The Free Press has a photo gallery of the first spring practice.
- Rich Rodriguez's Twitter page is, in fact, real.
- Former Miami quarterback Robert Marve is going to visit Michigan and five other schools before making a decision about where he is going to transfer.
- Tiffany Ofili won a national championship in the 60-meter hurdles for the second year in a row.
- Tickets for a Michigan athletics celebration featuring a reunion of the Fab Five are going on sale today.
