Nick Montana, son of pro football Hall-of-Famer QB Joe Montana, signed his letter of intent today to play for coach Curtis Johnson and the Tulane Green Wave.  Last season, Montana quarterbacked for Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California, throwing for 2,652 yards and 22 touchdowns leading the team to a division title and an impressive 11-1 record.  Prior to that, he had a brief stint at the University of Washington as he played six games as a redshirt-freshman in 2011. Montana, who has two years of eligibility remaining, will enroll at Tulane this spring as a junior so he can compete right away for the starting position.  Since his high school days and including his college playing days, Montana knows how to generate wins going 38-3 as a starter.  He is expected to make an immediate impact and will compete against sophomore Devin Powell and junior Jordy Joseph for the starting post.  Tulane (2-10, 1-6 C-USA) ended a disappointing season with 40-17 loss to Houston.  With the ...
