Of course, TCU accepted the Big East invite only later to accept an offer to join the Big 12. The Business of College Sports has a nice breakdown of the lawsuit.

The Big East has also hired a search firm to aide in the search for a new commissioner. Russell Reynolds Associates has the task of finding someone to help lead the beleaguered, yet expanding conference following the forced resignation of John Marinatto. Why hire a search firm when they could just hire our friend from Big East Coast BiasMark Ennis?
