Just days after Navy unveiled new uniforms for the Army-Navy game on Dec. 8, the Black Knights have responded in kind with new unis of their own that honor the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.
One of the defining battles during WWII in which American forces decisively turned by an attack by the Germans is being honored by Army with a map of the battle zone that is imprinted onto the jersey numbers and black helmet stripe.
The look is certainly unique and we love Army honoring its military history, but personally we think it’s underwhelming and that the Black Knights would have been much better off with the camouflage uniforms and helmets they busted out for the Navy game in 2008. Grade: B-
