Model Katherine Webb — Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron’s girlfriend who has risen to global fame in just one week — tweeted that she’ll be appearing in a Sports Illustrated photo shoot.

Here’s her tweet that has since been deleted:

Randall Tyree with 101.5 Jamz in Phoenix captured the tweet. So did Rachel Baribeau, a sports radio show host with 92.9 “The Game” in Birmingham.

It’s not clear if the photo shoot is for a story about her instant celebrity status after Brent Musburger complimented her on her looks during ESPN’s coverage of the BCS title game between Alabama and Notre Dame last Monday.

Or, could it be that Webb might be appearing in an upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition?

Webb was the 2012 Miss Alabama USA and finished in the Top 10 in the 2012 Miss USA pageant.

We’ve reached out to Webb for more details.

She works as a model in Los Angeles. But she said she’s planning to move back to Alabama to be closer to McCarron.

  • You go girl..Take your 15 minutes and run with it!
  • who cares?
  • All the people who read the article and commented here.
  • Wished she was posing in my bedroom
  • BE NICE NO ONE WANTS TO READ TRASH.
  • you read it
  • KEEP IT CLEAN HERE,
  • I want to read trash actually!!! I WANNA LICK THAT PU$$YYYY
  • As long as she shuts up. The minute she speaks, she will probably start getting ugly...lol.
  • She has a lot more going for her then you do
  • I don't know if it's what they have in mind...but she is definitely qualified for the swimsuit edition. That much is obvious.
  • When I saw how she turned down that NFL player, I had hopes. I guess like every other empty-headed pretty face, her vanity is beginning to get to her. This is precisely what you don't do as a woman. If you've got a pretty face and a nice body, you keep it for your man, not flaunt it on the cover of sports illistrated.

I'm sure with all the hoopla her current boyfriend is probably on edge, he's not blind. I'm sure he realizes that she's very attractive, is she reasurring him at all or just waiting for the right egotisical dirtbag to sweep her off her feet down the road to ruin?
  • "If you've got a pretty face and a nice body, you keep it for your man, not flaunt it on the cover of sports illistrated." - I guess she should stay barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen too, huh?
  • What the F- - - are you saying???.. Your comments made about as much sense as Honey BOO-BOO comments
  • what CORavensFan was saying was that this is not the 60's. if she wants to go into the swimsuit issue she can. she dont have to stay home and do nothing waiting on her man.
  • How is she vain for accepting an opportunity like this? Is she supposed to turn down every opportunity that she gets? Did it say in the article that she was doing the swimsuit addition? No. Did it say she was going to be on the cover or on the cover half naked? No. She could be shooting fully clothed for something totally different. And empty-headed? She graduated with a degree from Auburn. Way to make yourself look like a complete moron. Way to go Katherine...take every opportunity you can get!! There will always be jealous haters against you!
  • i couldnt have said it better. Even if she is in swimsuit edition that is a tasteful display. not like some other magazines attempt of swimsuit editions. Ms Webb do what you do. Be as sucessfull as you can be. You have your degree so go for what you know
  • It must be a burden to be jealous of someone just because they have a chance to make it big in this ugly world
  • Hi Billy EZ I agree with you..Its an even bigger burden to be jealous, and make nasty comments about a person that you dont even know, lots of hurting deperessed people in this world!
  • Oooh! Good One!!!
  • Maybe this a career move. Believe it or not, there is more out there for a woman than a man.
  • She's Young , Hot , Educated and deserving of everything good that comes her way,, , take it and run with it Girl
  • She can pose in my bedroom anytime
  • YOU ALREADY SAID THAT 20 MINUTES AGO AND NO ONE LISTENED......
  • Listened ? that was smart
  • Who cares dido!
  • Please keep your clothes on. Keep your dignity. The price of fame isnt worth it.
  • shut up...it's just a bathing suit. Get out of the 50's. This is a great opportuniy for her d!ckhead
  • If there are any males out there that are complaining or critcizing this woman for posing in a bikini, then I have some Streisand tickets to sell you.
  • good one
  • Nahh...not into anorexic chics with man faces. Much hotter chics than this. Maybe you should get out more..lol.
  • You should be into getting your eyes checked
  • Tanya @ Graylane.. To each is own and you are entitled, but what do she do to you to be called anorexic, and man face?lol How would you like it if you were called a few ****** up names?
  • Another jealous woman! Your not fooling anyone! Even I (a woman) can't get enough of Katherine Webb. She is beautiful! I never get tierd of looking at her. Good Luck to you, Katherine!
  • Haha, seriously.
  • COOL, Brent Thanks for saying those positive things about such a beautifull lady and lady with class!!!
  • graylane, maybe you need to look around more when you're out.
  • BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND IT SEEMS SHE HAS A LOT OF CLASS TOO.
  • Beautiful Woman, beautiful country, great opportunity. What is wrong with that?
  • I say to hell with Sports Illustrated I want to see her in Playboy!!!!!!!
  • sorry she has class. That would be a straight money grab. she doesnt need any publicity she already have that so she can just stay with Sports Illustrated.
  • I am Happy for Both of those Kids!

  • Did this woman who is going to be on sports Ill, and who is supposedly in College spell Blessed... BLESSEDED
  • She has nice eyes...Its when she smiles , it starts going downhill....Hey, at least she is'nt laying with a Negro.
  • Old brent may be an old horndog but he's got great taste in picking hot women
  • I think all this hullabaloo over this young lady is unfortunate. I especially take offense to the vulgar mesage left by one here who obviously has no brain. Can the 'community' of this site collapse inappropriate trash like this? Miss Webb is a model who has been given a great opportunity. Kate, if you're out there, you'll have to get use to trashy people making trashy comments. Give them no mind at all. God speed to you and A.J. if thats what God has designed for you. As to the photo shoot, GO FOR IT!
  • I haven't seen her toes yet, but all else looks great. WOW what hair! One concern is- I've heard her boyfriend of ONE month is complaining about all the attention SHE is getting. Beware Miss Webb - if he is that uptight and plays a violent sport - take much time to evaluate this guy. He may be rough with ladies. OH, and if you're looking for a 73 year old boyfriend without a pot belly who has two great wolf hybrids, please give me a call @ 555-1212 ! :)

Michael Vick: Percy Harvin won't be a monster here

New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick has some experience with facing a crossroads in his NFL Career. He was once cast-off as nothing more than a thug off the field and a bad teammate in the locker room. He has grown from that experience and matured a great deal in recent seasons. The veteran can offer some guidance to new teammate Percy Harvin, who was traded to the Jets last week...

Urlacher: Cutler paid like elite QB, hasn’t produced like one

Brian Urlacher was teammates with Jay Cutler for four years. That’s long enough for the former Chicago Bears linebacker to draw the conclusion that Cutler is really only elite in one category at the moment — salary. Cutler, who signed a seven-year, $126 million contract this past offseason that included $54 million guaranteed, is certainly...Read More

Cardinals kicker blew $1,500 signing bonus on headphones

Having entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, Chandler Catanzaro is making, in a relative sense, mere pennies. The Cardinals kicker signed a three-year deal that will pay him $420,000 this season -- the rookie minimum -- and included just a $1,500 signing bonus. That $1,500 is the only guaranteed money Catanzaro will receive over the life of the deal. And he already blew...

A proposal that would have lowered the worst team...

After last night’s disappointment, this game was exactly what Royals fans needed to forget about their team’s ugly loss in game one of this series.
