Davin Bellamy, a defensive end from Chamblee Charter High School near Atlanta, actually posed for a picture near a bong while on a recruiting trip to the University of Oregon.
That’s Bellamy on the left side of the photo wearing the Oregon jacket with the Nike logo.
SB Nation reports that Bellamy tweeted and then deleted the photo.
Posing near a bong isn’t exactly the smartest thing to do while you’re trying to land a football scholarship from the No. 2–ranked college football team.
FOX Sports’ Scout.com lists Bellamy as a four star recruit from the Class of 2013. He’s ranked No. 27 nationally among defensive ends. Either Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee or Oregon are possible landing spots for Bellamy. But that could change given the release of the photo.
By the way, Chamblee Charter High School bills itself as a magnet school for high achievers.
One of them made a really dumb move.
