From NESN:
The Manti Te’o story gets weirder by the day.
On Thursday, Dr. Phil McGraw released his first half of an interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the mastermind behind “Lennay Kekua.”
Tuiasosopo confessed his feelings for the former Notre Dame linebacker and admitted that it was him through all of the voice mails and calls in general with Te’o.
But it didn’t stop there, as he then presented Dr. Phil with his rare talent: a piercing female voice, which can be heard below.
Below is a voice mail message Kekua supposedly left for Te'o:
-
That is not the same voice. If you put a musical tuner to both recordings you can see that Lennay 9/11/12 voicemail to Manti is a Higher pitch voice, a female voice. Ronaiah Tuiasosopo voice is a Tenor male voice but to speak that High like Lennay 9/11/12 voicemail to Manti is almost impossible for a male. There only a very few male singers that can sing that high, they only hit one or two notes then come down because it is almost impossible to stay singing that High without blowing your vocal chords. Ronaiah Tuiasosopo can speak very high for a male that is for sure but I do not think it is the same voice.

sicko

I assume that you are no expert but just an amateur with an opinion. Nevertheless, if you noticed that it is a different voice, then Te'o should have noticed that as well. Te'o should have suspected that he was not talking to a female for all those hours.
-
His point was that it's a different voice than the one in the voicemails! Think about what he wrote. This guy is likely lying to protect the woman that actually did speak to Te'o, that's all. Weird and hard to believe story, but it happens.
-
Wouldn't that be something - and I don't think it would be that far-fetched in this day and age - if this whole charade was made up? I'm speaking from ALL the characters involved. It could very well be that Te'o, Tuiasosopo and "Lennay"(Diane O'Meara)ALL conspired on this to gain publicity for Te'o in his quest for the Heisman, but it went horribly wrong for Te'o. Still, as these things usually go, all will probably make millions off the book and movie deals, in addition to what they have already made on the talk-show circuit.
-
All of this is beginning to get on people's nerves. Either Manti is the dumbest dude on the planet or the most needy, either way it is pathetic. The other dude needs some help too and the talk shows and media that kept this going need a reality check as well. A book and movie deal....seriously ?? What is wrong in this country?

This loser of a football player is just getting himself in deeper and deeper with this 'story'. Come on, T'eo...you're a has been, a loser with no future. I can't imagine the embarrassment you live with every day.

What is this? Notre Dame Press for their star football player: Te’o…I can’t speak for everyone, but this all smells like some rotten spoiled fish of a lie! I wonder about this guy whom claims to be the voice of this football player’s alleged fake girlfriend…. Is being paid to confess to this farce of a publicity stunt…invented to build fame for the football star… On Doctor Phil when this alleged gay man demonstrated the female voice…why did he do it behind the screen? Why not out in the open where everyone can see him? I say this is all Fraudulent stunt to build fame for an ND football future star….what’re your thoughts?
