1. Alabama (5-0)
The Tide and quarterback Greg McElroy got off to a slow start against Kentucky but pulled out an 18-point victory to hold on to the No. 1 spot. Mark Ingram continued his dominance with 140 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Alabama travels to Oxford to face Ole Miss this Saturday in a big SEC West matchup.
2. Florida (4-0)
The Gators had a bye week which gave Tebow time to rest up for the big showdown in Baton Rouge against LSU. I'd be willing to bet the farm that Tebow will start against LSU. I'm thinking Florida wins big.
3. Texas (4-0)
The Longhorns also had a bye week and face Colorado at home this Saturday.
4. USC (4-1)
The Trojans dominated California in a game that showcased the greatness of Joe McKnight. USC has a bye this week to get ready for Notre Dame in South Bend.
5. Ohio State (4-1)
