The Florida State Seminoles failed to live up to expectations this season, many expected this year’s team would compete for a BCS National Championship. The Seminoles will be appearing in the Orange Bowl this year as the current ACC champion, however they will be without their defensive coordinator next season. Mark Stoops will be headed to the University of Kentucky fort the 2013 season.
Rumors are swirling around the internet and Twitter, that the next defensive coordinator for the Seminoles will be the defensive backs coach of the University of Alabama, Jeremy Pruitt.
Current Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher has not responded to any rumors or acknowledged any persons involved in the rumors. While speaking to the media this weekend, Fisher stated, ” I want to announce it when all things are appropriate for all parties,” when asked about the potential hiring.
