Well, what a day in B1G 10 land. Nebraska learned the hard way that if you don’t come to play, do not expect to win. Northwestern came out and flat out dominated the Huskers. Even with Dan Persa on the sideline, Kain Kolter came in and threw the ball around on the Huskers, including an 81 yard strike that about put the game out of reach.
Nebraska’s problems were not limited to one area of the field. Nebraska’s offense, defense, and special teams. Northwestern’s defense is one of the worst in the B1G, and the Huskers could not run the ball at all. Their offense is one of the best, and it proved again today. 470 yards (minus the kneel down) is just unacceptable for the Blackshirts. The special teams also had opportunities to pin the Wildcats deep, but instead the ball bounced into the end zone.
