Missouri was riding high off a big win against Oklahoma last week, but it did not last very long. Nebraska got back to their roots running the ball and the Tigers had no answers for it. Nebraska's Roy Helu Jr rushed for a Nebraska record of 307 yards and three touchdowns as Nebraska won 31-17 and take control of the Big 12 North Division.
Nebraska's Taylor Martinez as he was injured with a bruised right leg and should be back for the game against Iowa State next week. Missouri's Blaine Gabbert and held him to 18-of-42 passing for 199 yards. He was sacked six times by the Cornhuskers defense. Nebraska's pass defense played extremely well and limited Missouri's high powered offense and what they could do. This was a win the Cornhuskers needed as this is there last go around in the Big 12.
