Colin Parker, Brock Osweiler and Cameron Marshall all played big roles in ASU's season opening win over UC-Davis (Photo: Michael Kossett/Fanster.com)The inaugural Pac-12 football season started Thursday night for the Arizona State Sun Devils in the usual early September triple digit temperatures of Sun Devil Stadium.  Tonight’s sacrificial lamb on Sparky’s rotisserie were the Aggies of University of California-Davis.  One of only three schools in the UC system to field a football team. (Cal & UCLA others).  In direct competition for fans with the Arizona Cardinals who were playing cross town in an air conditioned dome against the Denver Broncos, the less than capacity crowd braved the heat for the first of seven home games in the 2011 season. Tonight’s game is basically a no-win situation for ASU.  Win big and it’s something you’re supposed to do.  Play a close game, and you should be worried.  Lose, well, let’s not go there for Sun Devil...
