Newman headed to Stewart-Haas in 2009.

Ryan Newman is heading to Stewart-Haas racing next year. Car number will be #4. Sponsors are still unclear at this time. This should help both Newman and Stewart Haas Racing. Newman is a great qualifier and will be able to get a non top 35 in points car in the race. I'd like to welcome Ryan Newman and his fans to team Chevy!!!!! I am very interested in seeing how Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman will benefit from Hendrick motors and chassis. They will have the best equipment Chevy has to offer coming from Hendrick Motorsports. Maybe with the addition of Mark Martin to Hendrick's next season along with the Stewart,Newman moves to Stewart-Haas racing they can all share info and put Chevy back atop the manufacturers in Nascar. While nothing is official, expect announcements in 4-5 weeks.
