Shocking, we know...As noted earlier in the week, our advice to new Marylandcoach Randy Edsall was to “stop talking.” He has been talking though and, evidently, some of what he said hasfound its way to The Fridge’s beefy ears…This exchange happened yesterday:Glenn Clark/WSNT Baltimore: Is it tough for you to watch?Have you sat down and watched any Maryland games or is it tough for you to dothat? I know you love the kids, but I also know you’re a Maryland alum, andit’s got to be a little painful.Friedgen: Well, it’s not painful because I watch it for thekids. I could care less about Maryland. I’ve burned my diploma. I’m flying aGeorgia Tech flag right now.Clark: [laughing] That’s hurtful. I don’t want to hear that,Coach. I’m a Maryland alum.Friedgen: Well, they talk about Maryland pride. They didn’tshow me a whole lot of Maryland pride, either getting the job or getting fired. To hear the entire interview, clickhere.

  • Turtle High is supposed to be a safety school, Friedgen should know better than to play with matches! Never bring up diploma and that place, untill I went there for grad school I never knew there was any other way to get a fake degree except by way of mail order institutions! Their national basketball title hero's Design class final was a childs level cut-out of a basketball court on construction paper, it was not even on a 6 year old special ed student level... he got an A for the course and was able to play, you know who you are so fess up!
