Another fan brought to tears (and public shame) by his football team’s performance on the field. And this time it’s not a little boy. It’s an Alabama fan who is inconsolable by his team’s inability to play remotely good or entertaining football in their loss to LSU last night:
I'd be upset too if I wore a suit and tie to football games.
His pretty decent looking date seems both exasperated and embarrassed by his tears. I’m guessing now that this picture is making its way towards Internet infamy she’s rethinking this relationship. Though based on the look on her face she was having serious doubts already. Ouch.

Saban wants to look ahead; UA players still hoping
Nick Saban has laid down the law: No more LSU talk.
No. 4 Alabama's coach opened his Monday news conference by saying he'd have ''one statement about the last game and then we're moving on.'' Saban says the Crimson Tide's attention is now on Saturday night's visit to Mississippi State, not on that overtime loss or on hopes for a rematch with the...
LSU 9, Alabama 6: Did The Mad Hatter Work Over Saban?
(Editor's note: Previously in our LSU-Bama recaps, we looked at the game's biggest surprises. Now, we turn to the coaching match-up.)
Was Nick Saban out-coached in this game?
Regie Eller: This was obvious to me – and I am a big Nick Saban guy. That speed option that LSU runs? Yeah, that thing is pitiful and Alabama could not adjust well enough in my eyes. With all the...
2 coaches, 2 styles, both winners
One wears a perpetual scowl, his words robotic and succinct. With Nick Saban, it's all about ''the process,'' which means running his football program with the meticulousness of a CEO. It may come across as cold and detached - even ruthless - but it sure works.
Then there's Les Miles. He eats grass and sings with his players. He mangles words so badly there...
Saban Proud of Effort Despite Loss
It would be hard to argue that Saturday night's match between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama, hyped nationwide for two weeks, failed to live up to its billing. Even Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban was not disappointed with his team's performance in the game, though he was with the outcome -- a 9-6 loss in overtime.
Oversigning Critics: Enjoy the Game!
This weekend’s matchup between Alabama and LSU has been the focus of nearly every sports broadcast this week. It’s attracted as much attention as any regular season football game I can recall (and I’ve seen lots and lots of weeks of football).
Much to the chagrin of some, though, there have been very few mentions of “oversigning”. Some have latched on to every single chance...

For those of you who are regular readers of Crystal Ball Run, you know that every Friday afternoon, our staff makes their picks on the biggest games of the week, in a segment we like to call "The Dirty Dozen."
But with this weekend's mega-showdown between LSU and Alabama, we decided to break the preview down into two parts.
Later on this afternoon, you'll see...
Alabama Hype Video for LSU Game Nov. 5
So we're about an 25 hours away from LSU-Alabama. Here I was thinking I was done watching hype videos for the game, then I came across the one you see above. Sure you've heard the music in it more times than Pitbull's "real good time" Dr. Pepper ad, but you can always mute that. If I wasn't amped enough for the game, I am now. There's some painful memories...
The College Super Bowl Comes Early: LSU v. Alabama
Typically, we have to wait until the new year to see the top college football teams face off in a one game matchup for the ultimate title. (Sadly, due to the BCS system we don’t always get to see the best teams play each other, but that is a story for another day.) Yet, this year Christmas came early.
The top two teams in the nation (by far) are the LSU Tigers (Louisiana...
LSU-Alabama is enough reason for playoffs
Because the BCS likes to pretend it is in the business of putting the best two teams in the country together to play for the national championship and because the SEC recently has provided the best football, LSU vs. Alabama on Saturday basically has been called a friendly, a warm-up, an exhibition. Not intentionally, just by definition. It is likely the first in a best of two, with...
