No. 19 Texas Tech hosts Iowa St after win at OU

Texas Tech doesn't want its big win at Oklahoma to muddy its future. The No. 19 Red Raiders will be going for their sixth win this year and a 19th consecutive season of being bowl eligible when they host Iowa State on Saturday night. Quarterback Seth Doege, who's averaging about 372 yards a game, says the team needs to forget about its 41-38 upset win in Norman last week. Redshirt freshman Jared Barnett from Garland will make his first start at quarterback for Iowa State (3-4, 0-4 Big 12). He's replacing Steele Jantz, who's thrown just one more TD pass (10) than interception (9) this season. The Red Raiders (5-2, 2-2) hope to avenge a 52-38 loss at Iowa State last season. The Cyclones have lost four straight.
