While reading tweeter I read that the “Little Caesars Bowl” was not serving Little Caesars pizza. I thought that was both interesting and funny. Then, still on tweeter, I read that UNC should have played in the United States Postal Service Bowl since they mailed it in. For most everyone that does not bleed carolina blue that was funny and unfortunately it was also pretty much true. In the end, at the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl, Missouri (8-5, 5-4 in the Big 12) routed North Carolina (7-6, 3-5 in the ACC) 41 to 24. As I said in the preview of this game one thing that hurt the Tar Heels this season was a double threat quarterback. The Tigers had one in James Franklin and he did what the prior two QBs did to Carolina, getting 274 combined yards and scoring three touchdowns, which earned him Offensive MVP for the Bowl Game.
