The hype around Demarcus Robinson has been building since he enrolled in January. The Gators desperately needed a weapon in the passing game, and judging from the comments of coaches and players, it could be Robinson. Even as the often even-keeled offensive coordinator Brent Pease spoke about the freshman on Monday, it was easy to see how anxious the Gators are to get him on the field.

Starter out for year; 2 expected back soon

Florida head coach Will Muschamp announced the unfortunate labrum injury of starter Chaz Green and said the junior offensive tackle will miss the entire 2013 season after surgery. Muschamp also gave good news that he believed Matt Jones would return for the Miami game next week and that LB Antonio Morrison's suspension has been dropped from two games to one and will also be back for Miami.

Toledo offense has Florida’s attention

The film has shown the Florida defense all it needs to know about what it will face against Toledo this weekend. The Gators have to be ready to run. The Rockets want to snap the ball as fast as possible, trying to keep the defense from getting a chance to breathe or substitute. It’s tough to replicate in practice, but Florida knows what it will see on Saturday.

With more clarity on the status of the two, Florida learned over the weekend that starting right tackle Chaz Green (labrum) will need surgery on Wednesday that will keep him out for the 2013 season. It will bring shuffling up front for the Gators.
