The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have finally given it's fans and supporters something to look forward to without a four leaf clover or the luck of the Irish. They have jumped out of the gate to a 3-0 start after impressive victories against Navy and top ten ranked rival Michigan St while grinding out a victory against Purdue. They have gotten off to a great start with there electrifying red shirt freshman quarterback Everett Golson and a rock solid defense led by senior linebacker Manti Teo. Coach Brian Kelly, has always been known for his fast pace, spread offense but its his running game, timely pass plays and stout defense that has his players playing like champions but they have a long way to go before they start thinking championship. Notre Dame has had a history of getting off to a fast and impressive start only to wither towards the end of the season. This season and this team has a positive vibe about them and they're a couple of wins away from being relevant in the BCS...

Wins over Top 10 teams have been rare for Notre Dame in recent seasons. So too has been success thereafter.
Michigan has the unique position of having three big rivals. Most teams only have one rival to get up for, but year-in and year-out, Michigan has three. While we, as fans, hate each of these teams, we carry some respect for them. Michigan State and Ohio State carry conference affiliation ties while Notre Dame, well, we all just put up with them. All season long, it’s fun to keep...
