Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd will not participate in next week’s Senior Bowl, according to ProFootballTalk. Although Floyd is considered one of the top wide receiver prospects for the 2012 NFL draft, the reason for his absence from the Senior Bowl is unclear. During Floyd’s senior season at Notre Dame he recorded 1,147 yards with an average of 11.5 and scored nine touch downs. Throughout his entire career with the Fighting Irish he recorded 3,686 yards with a 13.6 average and scored 37 touch downs. Following last season, Floyd pleaded guilty for a misdemeanor driving under the influence charge.
