The new Virginia Tech football roster was released earlier this week and at first glance, it didn’t appear that there were any major surprises. Jayron Hosley, the cornerback/kick returner will wear No. 17 this season – he wore No. 20 last year. And Zach Luckett switched from No. 44 to No. 16. But when I changed the categorization from jersey number to position, I noticed that No. 25, Josh Oglesby was not listed among the tailbacks. He is listed as a fullback, which could be a win-win for both Oglesby and Virginia Tech. Oglesby has struggled to find playing time behind back-to-back record-setting seasons by Darren Evans in 2008 and Ryan Williams in 2009. Both Evans and Williams are expected to be back next season and behind them is another burner with incredible potential, David Wilson. So, the move to FB could give Oglesby more playing time while at the same time, giving Tech’s offense an added threat. Oglesby immediately becomes the most experience FB on Tech̵...
