Offense: B-
Missouri had 418 yards of total offense, 34 more than the Sooners, but a total of four turnovers by Chase Daniel and Jeremy Maclin cost the Tigers. They did show they could move the ball against one of the best defensive teams in the country. The Missouri running game was also non-existent.
Defense: C
This grade might be a bit unfair because of the situations the turnovers put the Missouri defense in, but the fact is Oklahoma converted 10 of 14 third-down attempts and turned every turnover into points.
Special teams: A
No complaints here, though special teams weren't really much of a factor. Kicker Jeff Wolfert made his lone field-goal attempt, and when Jeremy Maclin got a chance to return a punt or a kick, he usually put the Tigers in pretty good field position. Also, Missouri forced two turnovers on kickoffs.
Overall: B-
Missouri beat itself. There's no other way to say it. However, MU did show that it can play with a top team like Oklahoma, and Missouri might still be the North favorite to get to the Big 12 championship game in December for a possible rematch with Oklahoma. By then, maybe, the team will have improved ball security.
