JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — A person familiar with the decision tells The Associated Press that Mississippi quarterback Jevan Snead will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
The person spoke Thursday on condition of anonymity because the decision has not yet been announced.
Snead led the Rebels to a 21-7 victory over Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl.
Snead finished the 2009 season with 2,632 yards passing and 20 touchdowns. He completed 191 of 351attempts with 20 interceptions.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound junior is considered a top quarterback prospect.
