Op-Ed: OK, We Admit It! We Suck! Stop Beating Us!

At the risk of losing all potential readership I have covering a Columbus hockey team, I must cop to being the "black sheep" of WFNY's stable of writers. I'm what can be considered an "endangered species" – a University of Michigan fan living in Columbus, OH. My wife (a third-generation OSU degree holder) and I were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. As the story goes, upon hearing about me and my personality, my then-to-be-blind-date asked her friend, "Sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?"
