For a lot of teams, injuries to the starting quarterback and a Heisman-finalist running back might mean some drastic adjustments.
Not at No. 9 Oregon, where Chip Kelly says the game plan doesn't change.
The Ducks may be without quarterback Darron Thomas and running back LaMichael James this weekend when they visit Colorado.
James, who dislocated his elbow on Oct. 6 against California, still has not carried the ball in practice. The nation's top rusher told reporters Tuesday he was making the trip to Boulder and plans to dress for the game, but doesn't know yet if he'll play.
Thomas' situation is more vague. He was seen after practice in full pads, but it was not known if he took any snaps.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas, injured in last weekend's game against Arizona State, says he expects to play Saturday against Colorado even though there has been no official word about his status.
Check out this clip of Oregon’s coach, Chip Kelly laying into some Oregon fans during an interview with Erin Andrews. There are ways people can impress Erin Andrews and I would assume this is damn near the top of the list.

This week as the #10 Oregon Ducks (5-1, 3-0) travel to Boulder to take on the Colorado Buffalos (1-6, 0-4), there will be a few new faces for both teams that will play key roles.
Colorado will be without running back Rodney Stewart and linebacker Douglas Rippy, their best offensive and defensive players for the Buffs respectively.

The decision became an easy one for Plano (TX) Plano West Senior three-star linebacker Bryce Cottrell after his official visit this past weekend to Eugene. After taking in Oregon's 41-27 victory over Arizona State, Cottrell met with Oregon head coach Chip Kelly and made the call.
