What better location for the inaugural Pac-12 Football Media Day than a movie studio in Hollywood, California? Deep in the shadows of the NFL lock-out ending the previous day, the on going NBA lock-out and all the ugliness coming out of Ohio State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Tennessee, the newly formed Pac-12 staged the first portion of their coast-to-coast media tour on the lot of Fox studios. So on a Tuesday morning in the shadows of the Modern Family television program studio, commissioner Larry Scott brought out the 12 coaches with their respective player representatives for all to see. Roses (courtesy of the Rose Bowl growers) adorned all the tables, a new shiny Pac-12 Championship trophy was on display and media tents lined the very pathways that have seen some of biggest names in Hollywood for the last century.
