Pats Sign Draft Pick Wheatley

The Patriots signed rookie cornerback Terrence Wheatley to an undisclosed contract on Tuesday.  Wheatley was selected in the second round of this year's draft.  The 23-year-old started in 28 of 40 career games at Colorado over four seasons, racking up 156 tackles, one-and-a-half sacks, 14 interceptions and 31 passes defended.  He also recorded 1,350 kickoff return yards.  Wheatley posted five picks and 12 passes defended while starting 10 games last season.
