Just a few thoughts on Saturday's game since we're so far removed from it.So much for Eric Decker. The Minnesota wideout, had one catch, a 42 yarder after the game was decided. The Penn State defense gets a feather in their collective cap for this one, especially CB A.J. Wallace.I expected more from the pass rush, but it turns out it wasn't needed.Sometimes the best defense is a grinding out the clock offense. Actually, that is most of the time.A good game for RB Evan Royster, over 100 yards rushing. He is hitting the holes better (okay, maybe there were no holes to hit before) and seeing the field well again.OLB Sean Lee returned and immediately made his presence known -- with a penalty that gave Minnesota 15 free yards. He barely played, good news considering the field conditions.Speaking of the officiating, it was not very good. Lots of penalties, many undeserved for both sides.I was hoping for more snow, but it was just rain. Too bad really.The student section didn...
