It’s becoming hard to tell whether USC fans or Tennessee fans are more excited about Lane Kiffin’s recent dismissal as the head coach of the Trojans. Last week, we saw UT students paint an ode to Kiffin on “The Rock” on campus. Today, Nikki Burdine of LEX 18 News showed us a photo of “Karma Got Kiffin” cookie cakes being sold at Kroger in Knoxville.

The irony here, of course, is that Kiffin banned desserts at team meals at USC. So I guess he wouldn’t like this photo for two reasons.

When USC joined the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) in 1922, they had no idea what it would eventually become. It eventually reformed into the Athletic Association of Western Universities in 1959. By 1968, the AAWU changed their name to the more familiar Pacific-8 ...
2010 was a crazy time. Texas played for a National Championship. Taio Cruz had the number one song in America. The U.S. government actually did it's damn job and didn't cancel service academy football games for no reason. But if you're looking for a refresher on 2010 insanity look no further than USC, where the Trojans wanted Lane Kiffin so badly that they gave him $2...
You can always count on Alabama fans to take fandom to the next level. We may have found the most interesting sign of the day in the stands in Tuscaloosa, even though the Northwestern students had an impressive showing for College GameDay.
The Alabama student section played host to a sign that trolled the U.S. government, Ole Miss, and Lane Kiffin all at once:
Alabama students getting...
Lane Kiffin isn’t the only football coach to fail at his job. He just happens to be the one who has failed at the last three job s he has had. And failed miserably at that. The head coach of a college football program might be the hardest of all coaching jobs. But it might also be the job where the most accountability is needed.Kiffin failed at the coaching side, the integrity portion...
Ed Orgeron promised fun at Southern California when he replaced Lane Kiffin, and that's what the Trojans got on the irrepressible interim coach's first day of practice.
The Trojans also got cookies.
Orgeron's booming Cajun drawl echoed over the campus fields Wednesday while the Trojans concentrated on drills designed to raise their competitive fire. Although many players...
USC quarterback Max Browne talks about his relationship with now former USC head coach Lane Kiffin who recruited Browne to the Trojans.
Ed Orgeron is a man of his word.
When named interim coach at USC following the mid-season firing of Lane Kiffin, Orgeron said he wanted to bring passion and fun back to the Trojans.
On Thursday, Orgeron harkened back to his days at the University of Miami when he had the players compete is what is known as the "Trojan Bowl."
It was a practice in which the first- and...
We already took a look at potential Lane Kiffin replacements at USC, so it's only fair we travel 3,000 miles east to try to fill the only other BCS coaching vacancy. It doesn't have the household names of Pat Haden's shopping list in Los Angeles, but let's take a quick look at a few candidates potentially gunning for the UConn position this offseason.
The only people that may be more excited than USC fans about Lane Kiffin’s pink slip are Tennessee fans, who are still sore about his sudden departure to Los Angeles three years ago after coaching a single season for the Vols. One UT athlete who was in Knoxville for that terrible breakup was Renaldo Woolridge, a forward on the Tennessee basketball team and a member...
Fired USC Trojans coach Lane Kiffin and New York correspondent Stefon are both freaking out, but over very different things.

Safe to say it’s been a busy week in college football.
That’s because just moments after USC announced that they’d fired Lane Kiffin on an airport tarmac Sunday morning, the Crystal Ball Run staff gathered for an emergency meeting at our underground lair to discuss who his replacement should be.
My colleague Allen Kenney made the case...
Did USC lose Southern California recruiting under the direction of former head coach Lane Kiffin? That is somewhat debatable. What isn't, is that USC interim head coach Ed Orgeron is out to win it back.
