Florida State started its season off with a bang — the Seminoles defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers 41-13 on Heinz Field. The star of the show Monday night was redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston, who completed 25-27 passes for a whopping 356 yards and threw four touchdowns. For obvious reasons, Winston has been making headlines leading into week 2 of the college football season — but it’s not just the media or fans talking him up, it’s celebrities as well. Monday night, NBA star Kevin Durant tweeted about his faith in the QB from Hueytown, Alabama. Today, it appears that Winston, and Jimbo Fisher, got a visit from country music star Jake Owen. Florida State’s next game is September 14th when they face off against Nevada in Tallahassee.
