Just as Pitt has had some attrition because of the change(s) in system, Ohio State is losing some players as they transition to Urban Meyer's spread attack. However, it appears that Pitt is the beneficiary at least in one case (via the Trib):
Former Ohio State fullback David Durham has decided to transfer to Pitt, university spokesman E.J. Borghetti said Monday.
Durham, who graduated from Christian High School in Charlotte, N.C., in 2010, spent the past two seasons with the Buckeyes, redshirting two seasons ago and getting little playing time last year. He was recruited by Ohio State as a defensive end before moving to fullback.
Durham, 6-foot-2, 245 pounds, will sit out the 2012 season, according to NCAA transfer rules, and be eligible in 2013.
That's some nice size for a fullback. Durham also fills a huge need left over from the Graham year. We won't see him until 2013, but at least by that point it appears the position will be set.
