Allen Bradford is going to be a player whose name you will likely not hear called until day three of the draft, but he is one of many running backs in this draft that I feel can have a significant impact as a rookie if he is able to stay healthy.

Bradford is an incredible combination of size (5’11″ 242), speed (4.53 40 yard dash), quickness (1.59 10 yard split), and strength. This guy is really an incredible athlete, and over the last two seasons at USC he averaged over six yards per carry. Had he been able to stay healthy more consistently, he likely would be in the discussion for a 2nd or 3rd round choice. There is not a ton of wear and tear on him, so he could be a productive NFL running back for 6-8 years. He utilizes his size very well, stays low, and reminds me a bit of a hybrid between Shonn Greene and Peyton Hillis.

If picked by the right team, I think Allen Bradford could be one of the better sleepers in this year’s draft class.
