In one of the more forgettable performances of the day, the Purdue Boilermakers got spanked by the Cincinnati Bearcats this afternoon by a score of 42-7. While such a lopsided loss can never be blamed on one player, quarterback Rob Henry is stepping up to take responsibility for his team’s poor showing. Henry took to Twitter to apologize to Purdue fans, then vowed to take himself off of Twitter to get better on the field. I apologize to all my family, teammates, friends and fans. My performance today was unacceptable. Never played that bad in my life — Rob Henry (@RobHenry15) August 31, 2013 Staying off twitter for a while because there obviously needs to be a lot more work done and a lot less talking on my part. #BoilerUp — Rob Henry (@RobHenry15) August 31, 2013 Purdue takes on Indiana State next Saturday.
